Internal Sliding Door Installation Project in Richmond

In Richmond, Lightfoot Windows completed an internal sliding door installation using a Crittall Internal Sliding Door, creating a slim-framed glazed partition that keeps the interior feeling open while giving the flexibility to separate spaces when needed.

The door is based on Crittall’s Innervision® internal sliding door concept: slim steel sightlines designed to maximise glass area and bring natural daylight deeper into the plan—well suited to open-plan living and room partitioning. Crittall highlights precision manufacture (including welded corners and tight tolerances) for a refined finish that can complement both contemporary and more traditional settings.

From a practical standpoint, Lightfoot’s sliding specification focuses on smooth, everyday usability: multiple opening configurations (including pocket, rebate and face-mounted approaches), soft-close operation with concealed running gear, and toughened safety glass as standard, with optional glazing choices such as reeded/satin or acoustic options where privacy or sound control matters. Each installation is made to measure, helping the doorset align cleanly with adjoining fixed screens and sidelights.

This project was specified in RAL 7022, and the system is available with full RAL colour options to suit the wider interior palette.
