Large External Double Door Screens in Croyden

In Croydon, Lightfoot Windows installed large external double door screens from its Slim Aluminium range, delivering a clean, modern glazed opening with slim framing. The installation was completed with RNA Building Contractors, and the aluminium frames were specified in RAL 9005 (black) to create a crisp, architectural outline around the glazing.

As part of Lightfoot’s external aluminium doors-and-screens offering, the focus is on slim frames and large glass panels to maximise natural light, paired with practical day-to-day performance features. Lightfoot highlights secure multi-point locking, low-maintenance durable materials, and profiles designed for strong thermal efficiency—helping the door screen perform as well as it looks.

Colour is an important part of the final aesthetic: Lightfoot notes their external aluminium doors can be finished in classic shades such as black and also supplied in additional RAL colours when a project calls for a different palette.

Overall, the Croydon scheme combines a bold black finish with a slimmer aluminium sightline, creating a refined external screen that prioritises light, security, and a contemporary look.
