Single glazed Small Pane type Crittall Steel Windows are synonymous with the Georgian Period and are seen in many Cottages, Apartments and Homes all over the UK.

The perfect pane proportions were created using a 19mm putty glazed ‘T’ bar allowing light to flood in.

Today we can accurately match the look of the Small Pane windows with our double glazed Heritage Bar system.

A 19mm powder coated aluminium (to match the steel frame) Heritage Bar is applied to both surfaces of the outer pane of glass in the exact position of the original ‘T’ bar to recreate that perfect pane proportion.

Our double glazed Heritage Bar Crittall Steel Window system has been a major success with all of our clients and has been used in many Conservation Areas and Listed Buildings due to is near perfect match to the original windows.

These windows are also still available for single glazing but you will require dispensation form your local Building Control to use them.
